"RHYTHMIC REPERTOIRE"
"Rhythmic Repertoire" workshop provides the rare opportunity for the artist to learn a piece from the repertoire of a company that they wouldn’t typically connect with. This allows the artists to learn first-hand about the history of the ballet, see the original footage of the ballet, receive feed-back while executing the movement, and possibly use for the development of a reel. The artist will also have the opportunity to meet the artistic director of the company via the platform.

Learn repertoire from artists with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Koresh Dance Company, and choreographers working with companies across the country. In addition to repertoire in a variety of styles, young artists will work with Sonia Dawkins on technique, and strengthen their bodies through conditioning and training.

SD| Prism Dance Theatre presents
"Rhythmic Repertoire" Workshop - a five-day intensive workshop that provides highly focused and extensive training to intermediate | advanced level artists.
The classes will focus on repertory, developing personal artistry, technique, and finding one’s voice.

Classes will be taught by experienced renowned international and national teachers.

Students will work with the teacher/choreographers to learn and rehearse new repertory to use for audition reels and personal marketing as the artists audition for productions and companies.
Each day, SD|Prism Dance Theatre "Rhythmic Repertoire", will take you to places where you'll have the freedom to explore and contemplate art, beauty and the history to your heart's content.
